The Lady of Shalott - Part III

Part III

A bow-shot from her bower-eaves,
A un tir d'arc de la seva terrassa,
He rode between the barley sheaves,
The sun came dazzling thro' the leaves,
El sol enlluernava entre les fulles
And flamed upon the brazen greaves
i flamejava sobre les greves de bronze
Of bold Sir Lancelot.
de l'audaç Cavaller Lancelot.
A red-cross knight for ever kneel'd
Un cavaller de creu vermella per sempre
To a lady in his shield,
agenollat davant una dama, al seu escut,
That sparkled on the yellow field,
que brillava en el camp groc,
Beside remote Shalott.
prop de la remota Shalott.

The gemmy bridle glitter'd free,
La brida de gemmes brillava tan resplendent
Like to some branch of stars we see
Hung in the golden Galaxy.
penjada en la galàxia daurada.
The bridle bells rang merrily
Les campanetes també hi sonaven alegres,
As he rode down to Camelot:
mentre cavalcava rumb a Camelot.
And from his blazon'd baldric slung
I del blasonat baldric que duia creuat,
A mighty silver bugle hung,
penjava una potent corneta de plata.
And as he rode his armor rung
Mentre cavalcava, tota l'armadura sonava,
Beside remote Shalott.

All in the blue unclouded weather
Thick-jewell'd shone the saddle-leather,
brillava enjoiada la sella de pell;
The helmet and the helmet-feather
l'elm i la ploma
Burn'd like one burning flame together,
cremaven com una sola flama,
As he rode down to Camelot.
mentre cavalcava cap a Camelot.
As often thro' the purple night,
Below the starry clusters bright,
sota els cúmuls brillants d'estrelles,
Some bearded meteor, trailing light,
Moves over still Shalott.
passant per damunt de la quieta Shalott.

His broad clear brow in sunlight glow'd;
Lluent era el seu front ample i clar, sota els rajos del sol;
On burnish'd hooves his war-horse trode;
el cavall guerrer trotava amb cascs polits.
From underneath his helmet flow'd
Per sota de l'elm sobresortien
His coal-black curls as on he rode,
As he rode back to Camelot.
de tornada a Camelot.
From the bank and from the river
Passant per la riba i pel riu
He flashed into the crystal mirror,
"Tirra Lirra," by the river
"Tira, lira" - prop del riu
Sang Sir Lancelot.
cantava el Cavaller Lancelot.

She left the web, she left the loom,
She made three paces thro' the room,
Amb tres passes creuà la sala
She saw the water-lily bloom,
She saw the helmet and the plume,
Va veure el casc i la ploma,
She looked down to Camelot.
va mirar cap a Camelot.
Out flew the web and floated wide;
Lluny s'envolà la tela, planejant lliurement.
The mirror cracked from side to side;
"The curse is come upon me," cried
"La maledicció ha caigut sobre mi"-plorà
The Lady of Shalott.
